My Blog
When I started with tyBit, I remember working on an application that was still in its genesis. It was a separate standalone application that performed a search in something like 10 seconds and displayed them in a note-book fashion list. When you clicked on a result, it opened your browser and displayed the website in a frame with several unrelated ads on the left hand side. I had to admit, it was something that was going to take some serious effort to get people to use.
Now look at where we are. tyBit lives in the browser, both Internet Explorer and Firefox, transforming them into a powerful search appliance right from your own computer. We have an ad module that serves relevant ads versus "just whatever's in there". We have a budding social network. We have a version that searches from the web (though, admittedly, you're missing out if you don't download the one that lives in your browser). And we're looking to sign up other companies onto the same ship we're about to set sail in.
So what's so exciting about that? Think about it. We've come a long way. tyBit's been in development for years. And now things are moving and they're moving fast. You can't afford to be left behind, especially now and at this opportunity. A social network that pays YOU to display some ads that relate to what you're talking about? And does so up front?!? How can you say no to that?
Things are moving and shaking. And that's what's making these times very exciting.

I'm very bad at keeping a blog. So this one will serve as a coalescence of random thoughts and other conversions of the mundane.
